This is something I have thought about on and off for quite a while. Blogging. There have been many things I have started in life and never followed through with. I can't even count the number of times I have started to journal, and a few pages into it I loose interest. So although there are probably many more pressing things in my life that should be higher on my to do list, this is the start of fulfilling my number one new years resolution. To document the lives of my family as we grow.
My terrible memory I fear will not allow for accurate account of my girls childhood. So I am going to embrace the better late then never philosophy, release (or at least try to release) the Mommy guilt that so much time has past without a written word to capture the moments that have made us laugh, cry, and scratch our heads so far along this ride. I don't imagine that most of my entries will be vastly cleaver or witty, but they will be a written history of "us". My family. And proof to my girls that even though Mom doesn't remember all the details, you did have a memorable childhood.
